There is No Overnight Cure!

Please remember that warts have taken months to form and moles could have formed at birth. They will not disappear overnight, no matter what method of removal you choose. But persistence will prevail and your skin will become clear. Also remember that not all treatments work for all people and even if the blemish disappears, it doesn't mean that the treatment made it work, but it probably helped cause the mole or wart to leave faster.

Five Natural Mole Removers – Part 1

A skin mole is an abnormal collection of pigment cells present within the skin known as melanocytes. They are extremely common. Most people are born with a few moles and develop others during their lives. Many moles appear during the first 20 years of life, although they may continue to develop into middle age. However, the majority disappear with age.
The main worry with moles is that a small number may go on to develop a condition called malignant melanoma. This is a form of skin cancer, which can be fatal, is best spotted early and treated by medical procedure.

The medical treatment for moles is to surgically remove them but this may result in the reason for getting rid of the offending mole in the first place – scarring. If an undesired mole is on the face and its reason for removal is cosmetic, than an ugly scar left as a result is no better than the mole itself.

In the past, different home remedies have been followed to remove moles and have worked in many cases. These ingredients are found in most home cupboards, grocery stores, health food stores, or pharmacies.
  1.           Make a poultice of cumin seeds, ground up. Apply this poultice on the mole, and tie it in place with the help of a bandage. This is very good for the moles that are bleeding as it will help cauterize the small arteries. If there is a burning it will stop. Even the most obstinate of moles can be removed by a cumin seed poultice used regularly for a few weeks.
  2.          Take a single clove of garlic and cut it in half. Then place the inside portion of the garlic slice in contact with the mole and bandage it overnight. The sulfur-rich juices of the garlic will work on the mole. Within a few days the mole will be gone. If you can place the garlic piece on the mole for the whole 24 hours, then the treatment will be much faster.
  3.         Potatoes are very good for removing moles. Just slice a potato and place it on the mole. Do this several nights and the mole will begin to disappear. I must admit, raw potatoes is my favorite as I use them for healing just about everything.
  4.    .     A good Echinacea herbal tea can help in the removal of moles. Prepare the tea in the normal way, but add extra portions of purple cone flower, burdock root or the red clover. This will also help in the prevention of moles.
  5.          A very simple remedy for removing moles, using apple cider vinegar. First wash your mole with warm water for fifteen to twenty minutes. The skin around the mole needs to be as supple as possible. Once that is done, take some of the apple cider vinegar absorbed on a cotton ball and leave it on for a period of ten to fifteen minutes. Then wash it off with clean water and dry the area completely. Repeat four times a day. You will find definite improvement in the removal of the mole.

Five Common Natural Wart Removal Methods - Part 1

Warts are ugly blemishes that appear on the skin and are caused by a virus called the Human Papilloma Virus, which can be found just about everywhere. The goal is to remove the virus to keep the wart from spreading and then remove the blemish.

Warts generally go away on their own as soon as the virus runs its course, but it takes time, sometimes years before the wart vanishes. As such, people are often searching for methods to speed up the process. There are quite a few natural wart removal methods which have worked for people over the years. In this post, five of the most common natural wart removal methods will be considered.

Remember that there is no overnight wart removal method. It is necessary to cure the virus first. These five methods work on the immune system to fight the blemish as well as the warts themselves. All  these possible remedies can be purchased from the grocery store, a natural health food store or a pharmacy.

1.     The dandelion root is considered one of the best remedies for the removal of warts. Slice up the tap root of the dandelion. The rub this root on the warts, till the milky juice of the root smears the wart completely. Do this two or three times a day. This will slowly make the wart get detached from the skin and fall off.

2.     The tea tree oil has been used for many years for removal of skin blemishes. If you have a wart, try an application of the tea tree oil on the wart for a couple of days. Generally, within a week the wart will dissolve and will fall off. This is thought to be one of the most effective natural wart removal remedies known.

3.    Potassium is very helpful in the removal of moles, warts and other skin blemishes. If a healthy amount of potassium is consumed every day, it will help to strengthen the body’s immune system, which in turn can fight the virus and offending blemish. Drink a little apple cider vinegar on a daily basis. Both apple cider vinegar and bananas are rich in potassium.

4.     Applying the juice of a fresh pineapple onto the warts has been known to remove unwanted blemishes. The wart will disappear within a few days of continuous application. Apply the juice at night and leave it on the skin while you sleep. Wash it off in the morning. Alter the method by using a pineapple slice directly on the wart held in place by a wrap, instead of the pineapple juice. This is considered one of the most effective moles and warts treatments by some people.

5.     Purchase aloe vera gel from the pharmacy that is used to sooth minor burns. Apply this on the wart with a cotton bandage. Keep this gel on the wart for about three hours, or when it will have been completely absorbed into the skin. Then apply more gel. Use a different cotton bandage each time. Continue this remedy for a few weeks will ensure the removal of the wart. There are those who consider this to be one of the best home remedies for removal of moles and warts.

Prevention May Be the Best Wart Remover

Ironic isn't it and ideological also but it is possible to consider prevention to be the best wart remover.

We have seen that warts are caused by a virus called the human papilloma virus or HPV. This virus is contagious and you can get it from other individuals or contaminated places.

We also know that children are more prone to catching the virus. More than likely they become infected because their school system is infected. Most likely children are more vulnerable because their immune system is not as fully developed as the immune system of older individuals.

Our immune system defends our bodies from such intruders as viruses and harmful bacteria. It is therefore very advantageous to learn how to strengthen your immune system and so be more able to fight the human papilloma virus as well as other harmful infections. This will reduce the chances of getting warts.

Four Ways to Improve Your Immune System to Fight Viruses in a Natural Way

You can improve your immune system by:

Eat the right foods - Eat a lot of green vegetables such as broccoli. Eat plenty of food that contains proteins. Refrain from eating junk foods such as hamburgers and hot dogs. Try to minimize your intake of chocolate and coffee or any other beverage or food that contains caffeine. Eliminate refined sugars from you diet. Do not replace sugar by refined sweeteners since the latter may be in reality even more harmful.

Drink plenty of water -Water is a purifying agent. It is amazing how many people are not getting enough water nowadays. Some headaches may be only a sign that you are not drinking enough water.

Sleep adequately - The normal adult needs approximately 8 hours of sleep each night. The amount of hours needed depends on age; they usually decrease as one advances in age.

Eliminate smoking , second hand smoke or alcohol from your life - Both smoke and alcohol deplete your immune system. If at all possible quit smoking and cut alcohol down to a minimum so that you can greatly improve your immune system, making your body more capable to fight the human papilloma virus and so less prone to develop warts.
